Our Story
Mukbangs started in 2024 with a simple observation: millions of people around the world were watching eating broadcasts, but there was no dedicated platform that truly understood the community. Fans were scattered across generic video sites, missing out on the connection that makes mukbang special.
We set out to change that. Our founders, lifelong food lovers and early mukbang fans, built a platform from the ground up designed specifically for this community. From live streaming with real-time chat to food-focused groups and creator monetization tools, every feature was crafted with mukbang culture in mind.
Today, mukbangs.com is home to over 50,000 members across 120 countries. Creators stream daily, fans connect over shared meals, and new food trends are born here every week. We are just getting started.

What is Mukbang?
Mukbang (먹방) originated in South Korea in the early 2010s. The word combines "meokda" (to eat) and "bangsong" (broadcast), creating a genre where hosts eat large quantities of food while interacting with their audience in real time.
What began as a niche Korean internet trend has exploded into a global phenomenon. Millions tune in daily to watch creators enjoy everything from Korean fried chicken and spicy noodles to sushi platters and fast food feasts.
